SHROPSHIRE WILDLIFE TRUST BRANCH MEETINGS AND OTHER LOCAL EVENTS

 

Thursday 2nd September 2010 -  Fungi - a kingdom apart - illustrated talk by John Hughes at Ellesmere Town Hall, Willow Street, at 8pm

Thursday 7th October 2010 - Wildflowers of Shropshire -  illustrated talk by Fiona Gomersall, presenting a lively account of Shropshire's diverse landscapes and its equally varied and fascinating flora.  Meet at Ellesmere Town Hall, Willow Street at 8pm.

Wdnesday 13th October 2010 - Fantastic photos of our mosses' wildlife.  Barry Probin's photos of wildlife on Fenns' Whixall and Bettisifield Mosses.  Joan Daniels of Natural England tells the Mosses' story.  Meet at Whitchurch Infant & Nursery School, Station Road at 7.30pm

  • Unless otherwise stated the Ellesmere Branch meetings will be on the first Thursday of each month in Ellesmere Town Hall. Meetings start at 8.00pm.  There is an entry fee of  £2.00 per person which helps to cover expenses.  You do not have to be a member to attend so bring a friend as well.
